Apparently I really love movies...
I am so obsessed with Love Never Dies. Have you heard of it? I remember reading a few years back about how Andrew Lloyd Webber didn't like the way the Phantom of the Opera ended, with Christene ending up with that wimp Raul (he really used a word like that), so he had written a sequel to it. I looooove Phantom and I wanted so badly to see the sequel, but it wasn't on Broadway yet and was only playing in London. I looked up a bunch of stuff on it, but tried not to search too in depth because I didn't want to know the whole story line and the ending so that if I ever got to see it, it wouldn't be spoiled. I didn't even listen to the music. Well, with deciding not to look up information or music, I put it aside and completely forgot about it. A couple weeks ago while my parents were in town Bryan, my dad and I all went to see The Avengers movie while my mom stayed home with Max. During the pre-preview announcements, they announced that they would be playing Love Never Dies the very next day for one night only in limited Regal Cinemas. My memories and excitement about it all came flooding back and I knew I had to see it! My mom encouraged us to go, even though I felt bad leaving Max two nights in a row, she figured we should take advantage of her being there to watch him. Bryan and my dad ended up seeing the Hunger Games (which I had already seen) and I saw Love Never Dies. I'm soooooooooooo glad for the opportunity to see it, especially on the big screen!!!! I am so in love with every bit of it! There was seriously a scene and song where it was just so beautiful that I couldn't even stand to be in my body! I had to cover my mouth most of the movie so people couldn't see me smiling like a fool throughout the whole thing and totally cried at the end. I looked it up when I got home and found out that it was being released on DVD just four days later!!! I instantly bought it and have watched it a few times since. My parents and Bryan didn't like it as much as I did, but they also didn't see it in the theater so they couldn't be as enthralled in it. If you ever get the chance to see it, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! It's not a movie, but rather they just filmed the stage version in movie-like fashion. It's bee so hard watching the movie with other people around because I struggle so hard to keep myself from singing along!
